We thank Kobus Joubert for reaching out to the teens in Empangeni by offering a Sex & Dating Series/Workshop at Crossroads Teen Centre during the month of February & March. We had over 50 teens attend the workshop and we know this made a big impact on them as we received several feedback from some of the teenagers. Kobus addressed matters such as Sex before marriage, friendships, & problems boys and girls experience in life. With the video clips shown and the bible verses taught, our teens learned things they never knew before. We are grateful to God for allowing this series & for speaking to the hearts of these kids in need.

We would like to thank Mondi for their generous donation of 15 paper boxes. The last donation was done in 2013 and Crossroads Teens still have 4 boxes left from the last donation. The generous 15 boxes will last a long time saving the Centre some costs and going toward projects and other printouts needed by the teens in the area who attend Crossroads. The Centre Manager & Program Manager are grateful and overjoyed.

During the month of February, Crossroads’ Bennie Mthembu & Dezi Laatz have been doing interviews with teens in order to find the perfect teen suitable for the Committee. Crossroads have a total of 20 Committee Teens to date. We have been trying to get them all together during the week in order to take a group photo but due to sports and extra classes at school, our teens have been coming when avail. Here is a sneak peak of our Committee. A full group photo is still to come!
